Julie’s latest novel The Midnight Man (Hobeck Books, April 2024) is available in book shops and at Amazon . This is the first in The Clapham Trilogy a trio of books set in the 1940s in Clapham, South London.
Julie has also written three Whitehall thrillers, the last of which, Opera, was long-listed for the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger 2023. This followed Plague and Oracle. She also has a two book series set in southern Spain during the 13th century. The first of these, Reconquista, was long listed for Mslexia Children’s Novel of the Year, 2016.
Julie is Chair of Trustees of Clapham Writers the not for profit organisation responsible for the Clapham
Book Festival, an annual celebration of books and reading in south London. She also reviews, mainly crime fiction, for Time and Leisure Magazine. You can read some of her reviews here.
